Lazy iFrame
Updated over a week ago

This widget is available from Dynamic Content for Elementor v3.1.0

The Lazy iFrame widget allows you to embed web pages efficiently by loading the content only when the iframe comes into view, which significantly improves the loading speed of your pages.

Features

  • Lazy Loading: Unlike traditional iframes that load immediately when the page is rendered, the Lazy iFrame widget defers loading the iframe content until it becomes visible in the viewport. This feature helps to reduce the initial load time of your page and improves user experience.

  • Target URL: You can specify the URL to be embedded in the iframe. The URL will only be fetched once the iframe is about to come into view.

  • Height Settings: The widget allows you to set the iframe height in percentage, pixels, or viewport height (vh). This ensures that the iframe fits perfectly within your page design and remains responsive across devices.

Usage Scenarios

  • SEO & Performance: Lazy loading is particularly useful for improving your website’s performance and SEO, as the initial page size is reduced.

  • Embedded Content: Ideal for embedding third-party content like maps, forms, or videos without affecting the initial load time of your page.
